ROOTS THAT EDUCATE AND FEED
In Venezuela, 78% of the population faces food insecurity, and child malnutrition affects 65% of children nationwide.
To help address this crisis, the Sustainable School Kitchen project was launched to alleviate malnutrition, improve school attendance, and engage the community through a school vegetable garden. This initiative provides children with nutritious meals while educating them about sustainable food practices and the value of agriculture.
PROJECT SCOPE INCLUDES:
- Providing one daily meal to all students.
- Revitalizing school gardens to supply the school kitchen with vegetables.
- Providing 5th and 6th grade students with hands-on agricultural training at the school garden.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- With $30, we feed one child for one month.
- With $360, we feed one child for an entire year.
